ALLOTMENT 04 OF THE RING ROAD

In 1998, Tucumann associated itself to a group of national and international companies and participated in the bidding for the Programa de Concessão de Rodovias do Estado do Paraná: Anel de Integração (Highway Concession Program of the State of Paraná: Ring Road).

The members of the consortium won the allotment 04 (number four), which corresponds to the federal highway tracts between the municipalities of Balsa Nova and Guarapuava, Araucária and Lapa, Ponta Grossa and Prudentópolis, and the state road connecting the towns of Porto Amazonas and Lapa.

It was the beginning of a successful partnership: the Caminhos do Paraná, the company that holds the concession for the Ring Road, operates and invests in 405 kilometers of highways in the southern-central region of the State of Paraná and in the Curitiba Metropolitan Area.
