TPP – Terminal Portuário Paracas – Peru
Tucumann Engenharia executed the construction works of the new Paracas seaport in Peru, the TPP (Terminal Portuário Paracas – Paracas Seaport Terminal).
The project consisted of the construction of a number of buildings and port structures in land that served as physical and logistic support to the operation of the Seaport Terminal.
All the construction works employed BIM (Building Information Modeling) in the planning, which allowed us to visualize multi-disciplinary incompatibilities before the construction works started thus avoiding expenses and optimizing time.
Tucumann was responsible for the services of demolition of existing piers and buildings, the construction of the new piers, including related fillings, the cathodic protection of metallic piles, the installation of pier elements, the renewal of logistics platforms, and the construction of new operations buildings.
The new 700-meters-long pier is sustained by 120 rows comprised of six metallic piles and a reinforced concrete superstructure. The superstructures are comprised of chapiters, beams, pre made concrete slabs, and in situ slabs. The entire construction area totaled 180,000 square meters of concrete.
Tucumann Engenharia also executed construction works of the general warehouses and grain warehouse, providing the project with paving and building services, along with the building of the electrical and water systems.
All these executed projects met the needs of the client with technical, strategic and operational excellence, thus guaranteeing positive results to the enterprise.
