TCP – Terminal de Contêineres de Paranaguá (Paranaguá Container Terminal)
Tucumann Engenharia developed the projects related to customs warehouses for the operation of fractioned cargo of the Terminal de Contêineres de Paranaguá via two distinct contracts.
The first Project was customized for the end activity (without internal pillars) in order to make the operation more flexible. The floor was made of reinforced concrete with the incorporation of fibers and severe flatness control, self-supporting shingles, automated docks and cold chambers for sanitary inspection.
In another large-scale contract, Tucumann Engenharia performed works in the customs area with a short deadline, executing all pertinent services in eight months and being able to deliver seven days prior to the deadline established in the contract.
The project included all the works of dismounting and building the new Customs Warehouse measuring 10,000 square meters while the seaport’s cargo movement was in full operation.
In addition to the 350 tonnes of metallic structures, the great focus point of this project was the reinforced concrete floor presenting zero defect (which is demanded for the performance of automated forklifts).
