TPP – PE

The General San Martin Port Terminal in Paracas, Peru will be expanded and modernized over the next 30 years. With planned investments of US$ 230 million, it will be responsible for handling approximately 2.5 million tons/year of cargo in southern Peru.

The TPP is located in the district of Pisco, within a National Park, and hosts an archaeological site in its vicinity.

One of the major challenges of the project is that the terminal is located in the Arctic Circle of Fire, a region known for constant earthquakes.
